Welcome to Chapeltown Sub Aqua Club.

We are a social, family-friendly scuba diving club located at Chapeltown, north Sheffield.

We are actually a local branch (Branch no. 256) of the national British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), an organisation recognised by the diving fraternity the world over.

Being a club, we have diving throughout the year in British coastal waters and inland sites and regular social meets (inc. weekly at a local pub). An annual dive trip abroad is also usually arranged by club members.

The club provides diver training to members through a number of internationally recognised BSAC courses. Courses range from beginner level for those with little or no scuba-diving experience, right through to expert level for those with plenty of experience.

A number of other additional "skill development" courses are available, such as oxygen/first aid, rescue management and boat handling to name just a couple. For full information, see our Courses & Training section.

Divers that have qualifications from other agencies such as PADI are also welcome to join, suitable cross-over training can be given to enable you to obtain the equivelant BSAC qualification. Perhaps you've had a taste of diving whilst on holiday with a PADI course and now wish to take it further or take up regular diving here at home.
